ENLIYT was not born in a boardroom. It started in Saudi Arabia.
I was wearing a thobe — comfortable, covered, exactly how I wanted to be dressed. Then I wanted to hit the gym. And I had to go change.
That small moment stuck with me. Why does being dressed for my deen mean being undressed for everything else?
Then Ramadan rolled around. I was on TikTok watching brothers plan gym sessions after Taraweeh — praying late, training later, running the whole day on faith and almost no sleep. And the same problem kept showing up: you either dress for the masjid or dress for the gym. You change, or you compromise.
So we built the answer. Performance fabric that covers the awra. A thobe you can pray in, train in, and walk through the city in without changing once — and without looking like you're wearing a costume in either place.
That last part matters. This isn't just about convenience. It's about streetwear and Muslim wear existing as one thing, not two worlds you code-switch between. Islam is the fastest-growing religion on earth — but presence in society is different from growth in numbers. When a brother can walk into a gym, a lecture hall, or a masjid in the same piece and look like he belongs in all three, that's what visibility actually looks like.
Three founders. A mechanical engineer, and two partners. We are still in school. We are still building. But every stitch carries the weight of something real — faith that does not clock out, and a grind that never stops.
